To obtain a lightweight braid rope capable of keeping eye formed in braid rope terminal by using multifilament yarn against load, having high tensile strength and readily handleable.
This braid rope comprises a single rope 10 loosely braided in hollow by using ≥6 small ropes having ≥250 denier fineness and comprising loop processed yarn having ≥500 denier total denier and ≥8gf/d breakage strength, in the state in which multifilament yarn having ≥15gf/d breakage strength of single yarn and multifilament yarn having ≥20gf/d breakage strength are entangled. The braid rope has a part 12 hardened at the top of rope and the rope top hardened in the hollow part is inserted into a mesh near the top and the rope top hardened in double structure state is internally inserted along the hollow part having a definite length and the top is pulled out from braid rope mesh to the outside of rope and eye 14 is formed at the rope end.
