Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling a direct braiding of a braid structure preform, by which the braid structure preform for a fitting material in a near-net shape, comprising a protruded supporting ring and a platy fixing part is produced by a fiber arrangement required for the fitting material.
SOLUTION: This braid structure preform 1 for a fitting material is constituted of a fiber structure braided as a braid structure having a united structure. The fiber structure has a protruded supporting ring 3 and a platy fixing part 2 for supporting the protruded supporting ring 3, and the yarn constituting the both is braided so as to be separated or doubled at a separating or joining part 5. The braid structure is braided at the terminal part of the platy fixing part in a state in which the yarn is turned up and arranged in parallel in a two folded yarn state. An attaching and stopping fragments are inserted into each loop of the yarn at the most terminal part and the yarn is tightened to tie into a bundle.
