Abstract:
To inexpensively provide a braided composite material and a lightweight structural member with outstanding energy absorbing properties using the braided composite material.
This braided composite material is composed of a core material comprising a high tensile fiber coated with a resin and a set-up braided material around the core material. The resin coating the high tensile fiber constituting the core material is a braided composite material forming a pliable interface phase.
