This highly stainproof braided cord is composed of a yarn comprising a sheath-core type conjugate fiber consisting of a polyamide as the core component and, as the sheath component, a polyamide composition blended with a fluoropolymer so as to be 0.05-5.0 wt.% in fluorine content of the composition with the weight ratio of the core to sheath being (40-90):(10-60) on the fiber cross section. This braided cord is obtained by braiding the crimped fiber consisting of the above conjugate fiber with the triroval cross section having a section deformation degree of 2-4 and a number of crimps of 4-6/inch.
