PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight, tough structure, composed of respective partition walls radially extending along X-Y, X-Z, and Y-Z axial planes from the center of a spherical body.
CONSTITUTION: This braiding device A is made up from a braider B constructed by providing bobbin carrier-traveling orbits b1 on vertical annular frames B1, B2 rectangular to each other and a horizontal annular frame B3, respectively, a separatory device N, and a braiding rotary device H. Yarns from the respective bobbin carriers traveling along the orbits b1 are gathered and held at the tip h5' of the horizontal output shaft of the device H followed by driving the braider B to make the bobbin carriers travel oppositely to one another in a nearly triangular way of closed loops formed by the respective orbits b1 of the annular frames B1, B2, B3 and braid partition walls radially along the respective X-Y, X-Z, and Y-Z axial planes from the tip h5'. Subsequently, a motor h4 is driven to revolve a horizontal output shaft h5 and make a braiding along the spherical surface with the tip h5, as the center, thus obtaining the objective structure having spherical braided surface so as to enclose the partition walls.
