PURPOSE: To provide a braider spindle capable of producing a thick braid of good appearance which is obtained by joining respective yarns, in a state of slacklessly arranged in parallel with one another, unwound from bobbins stackedly mounted on a bobbin support pole.

CONSTITUTION: This braider spindle is made up of a support pole 2 stackedly mounted with plural bobbins Ba, Bb, Bc, Bd and stood on a base plate 1, polyurethane frictional sheets 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d energizing, through pressure contact, the respective peripheral surfaces of the bobbins Ba, Bb, Bc, Bd, and bobbin press plates 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d. Yarns Ya, Yb, Yc, Yd delivered from the respective bobbins Ba, Bb, Bc, Bd are arranged in parallel with one another into a single braid via the corresponding guide rollers 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, and the roller 11 on the slack-removing arm 10 of a tenser is moved to a position represented with a dotted line against the energization of a spring 12 and held with a check plate spring 13; in this state, a thread guarding is conducted, thus smoothly unwinding the respective yarns Ya, Yb, Yc, Yd and joining them slacklessly arranged in parallel with one another via a main tenser 7 and guide rollers 8, 9 into a braid.
