To provide a braiding machine capable of stabilizing the posture of each carrier during the movement and suppressing backlash or trouble between a closed path and a guide part, so as to move carriers at high speed.

A housing 10 of a braiding machine 1 includes an upper side plate 3A and a lower side plate 3B. The plates 3A and 3B have annular through grooves 31 formed penetrating along the outer peripheral portions of horn disks 4i and 4h, respectively. The through grooves 31 are mutually communicated so that two kinds of closed paths 34 alternately repeating inner loop and outer loop are formed. On a lower surface of a slide base 23 of each carrier 2, a first guide part 24 is fixed which is guided along each closed path 34 of the upper side plate 3A. An engaging shaft part 25 engaged with an engaging hole of each of the horn disks 4h and 4i is protruded on a lower surface of the first guide part 24, and a second guide part 26 guided along each closed path 34 of the lower side plate 3B is fixed at a projected end of the engaging shaft part 25.
