To provide a braiding method capable of braiding a braided fabric in high accuracy irrespectively of the shape of a mandrel by stabilizing the braiding position all the time.

This guide is used by attaching on a braider in which multiple fibers bridged between a bobbin carrier and a mandrel (m) are set to rotate around the mandrel while interlacing, to form a braided fabric on the mandrel. The guide consists of a ring 1 placed ahead of the rotating face of the fibers in the braiding direction of the fabric and able to pass the mandrel through, a supporting member 2 attached on the main body supporting the ring 1 movable in a plane crossing at right angles with braiding direction of the fabric.
