Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom of the installation positions of pads by covering the periphery of the disc of a disc brake by a cover and allowing said cover to support the pads which squeeze the disc, thus obtaining the compact cover. CONSTITUTION:The disc rotor 40 of a disc brake 39 is positioned at the divided part between a front cylinder 21a and a rear cylinder 21b, and a dish-shaped cover constitution parts 42a and 42b which bulge-out towards the outside in the radial direction are formed integrally at the divided edge part between the both cylinders. In the cover constitution parts, the outer peripheral parts are joined each other, and tightened by a bolt 43, and thus a cover 44 is constituted. Cylindrical guide holes 47 are formed oppositely in the upper parts of the front and rear surfaces of the cover 44, and a pair of pads 48a and 48b are accommodated into the guide hole.
