To provide a brake control device for executing automatic brake control in which the automatic brake control can be executed even when a partial bad condition of the device is caused.SOLUTION: A brake control device has [a front wheel-rear wheel connection passage for connecting a front wheel-rear wheel fluid-pressure chamber and a front wheel-rear wheel cylinder of a tandem type master cylinder], [an always-opening type front wheel-rear wheel separation valve arranged in a front wheel-rear wheel connection passage], [a master reservoir having a front wheel-rear wheel fluid-reservoir part], [a front wheel-rear wheel replenishment passage for replenishing a brake fluid to a front wheel-rear wheel fluid-pressure chamber from the front wheel-rear wheel fluid reservoir part], [an always-opening type replenishment valve arranged in the rear wheel replenishment passage], [a pressure adjustment unit driven by an electric motor and adjusting pressure of a brake fluid to adjustment fluid pressure], [a front wheel-rear wheel connection passage for connecting the front wheel-rear wheel connection passage and the pressure adjustment unit] [an always-closed type front wheel-rear wheel connection valve arranged in the front wheel-rear wheel connection passage] and [a controller for driving the electric motor, the front wheel-rear wheel separation valve, the front wheel-rear wheel connection valve and the replenishment valve].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
