Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate wiring of an operating wire so that a desired brake characteristic can be surely obtained in the halfway of braking.
SOLUTION: In a brake device 1, by moving an inner cable 10a arranged in the inside of an outer casing 10b, brake shoes 13a, 13b are brought into press contact with a rim 5, so as to apply a brake, the brake device 1 has a pair of right/left brake links 12a, 12b, two lock parts 27, 28, brake characteristic changing part 18 and a return torsion coil spring. Both the brake links 12a, 12b are a swiveling link. The lock part 27 is provided in the brake link 13b, the outer casing 10b is locked, the lock part 28 is provided in the brake link 12a, the inner cable 10a is locked. In the brake characteristic changing part 18, by swiveling a swivel link 20, a brake characteristic is small changed in the halfway of braking.
