Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a brake squeak of a bicycle, and improve brake performance and durability performance of a brake device for bicycle.
CONSTITUTION: In an internal expanding type drum brake device which is provided with a brake drum 2 fixed to the hub of a wheel, a circular arc shaped brake band 19 provided along the inner circumference of the drum 2. and a lining 17 fixed on the outer circumferential side of the brake band 19, and presses the outer circumferential face of the lining 17 against the inner circumference of the drum 2 through a brake shoe so as to brake the wheel, a guide member 28 for sliding the brake shoe is provided between a second brake shoe 13 and a base plate 3 pivotally supporting the brake shoe 13.
