Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide sufficient brake effect without giving excessive impact force to a rotation prevention section of a brake shoe by setting the frictional force between brake shoe and brake wheel to be smaller than the frictional force between brake wheel and brake disc. CONSTITUTION:A brake wheel 18 is provided on its side in frictional constact with a brake shoe 18 with a lining 8B having a mall coefficient of friction and on its side in frictional contact with a brake disc 15 with a lining 8C having a large coefficient of friction. Thus, when th brake shoe 18 is axially displaced for braking a motor shaft 2A, the state of rotation of the brake shoe 18 caused by a dagging force of friction between the brake wheel 8 and lining 8B is not quickly increasedin a accelerated fashion, so that generation of great impact force can be prevented.
