Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain pedal feeling with little sense of imcompatibility, in a brake fluid pressure control device which interrupts communication between a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder during brake operation.
SOLUTION: The brake fluid pressure control device has master cylinder cut valves 98, 100 for changing over communication and discommunication between a master cylinder 10 and wheel cylinders 64, 68. The master cylinder cut valves 98, 100 are set ON for interrupting communication between the master cylinder 10 and the wheel cylinders 64, 68 when a specified time passed after starting brake operation or master cylinder pressure P M/C reaches a specified pressure P0. Brake fluid inside the master cylinder 10 is thus consumed by the wheel cylinders 64, 68, immediately after starting brake operation.
