To provide a brake mechanism with a simple structure capable of individually and simultaneously loading braking force on primary and secondary driving shafts in response to selective operation of a driver.
The brake mechanism comprises first and second units loading braking force on the primary and secondary driving shafts, and an operating unit selecting and simultaneously operating first and second units based on external operation. The operating unit comprises an operating shaft, a first operating member rotatably externally inserting on the operating shaft and operably interconnected with the first unit, a first connecting member rotating the first operating member around an operating shaft based on operation of the first operating member or a common operating member by a driver, a common connecting member rotating the operating shaft around its axis based on operation of the common operating member by a driver, a second operating member externally inserting on the operating shaft so as not to rotate relative to it and operably interconnected with the second unit, and a second connecting member rotating the second operating member and the operating shaft around its axis of the operating shaft based on operation of the second operating member by a driver.
