PURPOSE: To control the braking force distribution characteristics of a front and a rear wheels freely in a brake for motorcycle, in which a master cylinder is connected to each brake cylinder of a front and a rear wheels and a pressure control valve is interposed between the master cylinder and the brake cylinder of the rear wheel.

CONSTITUTION: A control valve 80 is connected to a pressure control valve Cv1 interposed between a master cylinder and a brake cylinder of a rear wheel. When an operating member 94 of the control means 80 is rotated to advance and retreat a piston 91, volume of a pressure control chamber 97 is enlarged and reduced to change a largeness of the control oil pressure, and a set load of a valve spring provided inside of the pressure control valve Cv1 is changed by the control oil pressure to control the pressure reduction characteristic of the brake oil pressure to be transmitted to the brake cylinder of the rear wheel.
