Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an injection molding metal mold for a brake piston which is molded by using a resin material, which is a special material, for the brake piston of a brake system of an automobile.
SOLUTION: The mold unit for the brake piston characterized in that the unit is provided with: an insulating portion having an approximate squared shape in which a plate-shaped metal mold is piled up and a coverlike shape on an upper portion, and keeping temperature inside the metal mold constant, and restraining generation of bubbles; an upper molding portion capable of keeping in contact with the insulating portion and taking the brake piston out; a slide portion having a slide plate keeping in contact with the upper molding portion while injecting a material and separating from the molding portion when injection of the material is completed and simultaneously opening and closing to a left and right direction and a lower molding portion having the slide portion at an upper portion; and a metal mold base portion which is a base supporting the insulating portion, upper molding portion, and lower molding portion.
