Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve durability as well as wear resistance by subjecting a molten metal prepared by dispersing prescribed percentage of alumina fiber, silicon carbide whisker, etc., into an Al alloy to die casting at a prescribed velocity.

CONSTITUTION: An Al alloy in which 1W10wt% of one or more kinds among alumina fiber, silicon carbide whisker, and silicon nitride whisker are dispersedly incorporated is refined. The resulting molten metal of Al complex compound is die-caste at a rate at the gate of ≥35m/sec.
