Abstract:
To provide a brake system that can prevent the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal from being depressed incorrectly, as well as, easily prevent the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal from being depressed at the same time.SOLUTION: The brake system comprises: a brake pedal 26 provided at a position allowing the brake pedal to be operated by the left foot; a deceleration mechanism 22 for decelerating traveling speed according to an amount of depression of the brake pedal 26; and an accelerator operation limiting device 32 that forcibly fixes an accelerator pedal 12 operated by the right foot at an idling position to make the accelerator pedal inoperable when the brake pedal 26 is detected to be stepped on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
