To solve the problems that an abnormal vibration occurs due to the distribution inductance and distribution capacitance of a motor cable, EMI noise is generated by ringing superposed on a power supply of a motor, and moreover, insulation destruction on the power supply terminal and winding of the motor or increase in iron loss occurs in a motor system in which a rectangular wave voltage and a three-phase AC current are generated by a motor driver, and the rectangular wave voltage is transmitted to the motor via the motor cable.
Voltage clamp circuits are disposed between a frame ground and one end of a brake part to brake the motor by consuming regeneration thereof and between the frame ground and the other end of the brake part, respectively. Since the ringing is absorbed by the voltage clamp circuit, EMI is reduced, insulation destruction on the power supply terminal and the winding of the motor does not occur, and the iron loss does not increase. Moreover, the same effect as that by the voltage clamp circuit inserted into each phase of the motor is obtained.
