Abstract:
To provide a brake unit for a human powered vehicle which enables improvement of operability of a brake operation device, and to provide the human powered vehicle.SOLUTION: A brake unit for a human powered vehicle has a valve which switches a communication state between a first passage connected to a brake operation device and a second passage connected to a brake handling device. The brake unit for the human powered vehicle includes a housing part which houses the valve. The housing part is configured to allow the first passage and the second passage to communicate with each other. The housing part has an exhaust hole which exhausts a gas mixed into the housing part when the housing part is filled with a fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
