Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the storage state of a battery always accurately.
SOLUTION: A microcomputer 70 outputs a control signal to a driving circuit 71 at specified timing to drive an electric motor 28 so as to be rotated normally, and examines the action of the electric motor 28 during its driving to inspect the storage state of a battery 60. The specified timing is set to the timing of a vehicle being decelerated regardless of braking operation performed by a driver such as when accelerator operation is released during the travel of a vehicle, when the travel road of the vehicle is changed over to a downward slope from an upward slope, when a down-shift is operated, and when vibration is inputted to the vehicle from the road surface. On the basis of the inspected result, the defectiveness of the storage state of the battery 60 is informed by a display 82, and the execution of a program is completed to inhibit electrical control of the electric motor 28.
