Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a good operation feeling to a brake manipulator by combining a second hydraulic brake into one system for cost reduction, maintaining the braking force of a second hydraulic brake even in braking operation during stopping and operating the braking manipulator with slight force. SOLUTION: A stepped and bottomed cylinder hole 27 with a small bore 27b on the opening side and a large bore 27a on the bottom wall side is made in the cylinder body 25 of a secondary hydraulic master cylinder 13. A piston 28 is internally inserted therein to stride over the small bore 27b and the large bore 27a. An input hydraulic chamber 30 and an output hydraulic chamber 31 are defined in the cylinder hole 27. A second hydraulic piping 12 is connected at the downstream side 12b to the output hydraulic chamber 31 and connected at the upstream side 12a to the input hydraulic chamber 30. A link means 14 is connected at one end to a torque lever 15 integrally formed with a caliper body 5 for a first hydraulic brake 2 and connected at the other end to a piston thruster 17 via a rotationally movable lever 16.
