Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control unit capable of reducing a sense of abruptness at the time of starting for realizing a smooth start of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: In a breaking force control unit BCU which is mounted on a vehicle comprising a driving force control unit DCU capable of changing a driving force by a vehicle speed, a mileage range of a transmission, a stepping-on of an accelerator pedal and that of a braking pedal, and which comprises a braking force retaining means RU capable of retaining a braking force after releasing the stepping-on of the braking pedal BP, the braking force retaining means RU reduces gradually the braking force by releasing the stepping-on of the braking pedal BP. When a stepping-on operation of the accelerator pedal is detected, the braking force retaining means RU reduces the braking force at once.
