Abstract:
PURPOSE: To positively stop a printing machine, in the case of an emergency break command. CONSTITUTION: In a method for controlling breaking of the DC electric motor of a printing machine, for example, a sheet paper offset printing machine and in a method, in which braking after outputting the emergency break command is performed by the control of an armature current being transmitted from the DC electric motor, the value of an armature current IA is detected. Then, when the armature current IA deviates by a predetermined maximum value in an absolute value that is unallowed, a DC electric motor M is switched to a non-torque state and an electromagnetic brake B is operated.
