Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid excessive load on an electric negative pressure pump for supplying negative pressure to a brake booster device.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a motor and an engine 25. While the hybrid vehicle is traveled by driving the motor, when a request output value from a driver reaches a predetermined threshold value or more, the engine 25 is driven together with the motor for traveling. A brake mechanism includes: a brake booster device 64 for reducing tread force on a brake pedal 62 required for a brake operation by using negative pressure; and a negative pressure generation system 65 for generating negative pressure supplied to the brake booster device 64 by using pump negative pressure generated by an electric negative pressure pump 66 and engine negative pressure generated in an intake pipe connected to the engine 25. When the negative pressure generation system 65 has an abnormality of negative pressure, an ECU changes the threshold value for starting the driving of the engine 25 to a smaller value compared to when the negative pressure generation system has no abnormality of negative pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
