Abstract:
To provide an easily maintainable brake support device without the need for a device measuring a distance separately.SOLUTION: A brake support device 200 comprises one or more obstacle sensors 43 provided at a side of a platform 10 of a station, for detecting a position of a train 20 during travelling, a brake determination device 201 for calculating a distance from the position of the train 20 detected by the obstacle sensor 43 to a stop target position SP and a travel velocity of the train 20, and determining a brake velocity according to the stop target position SP and a notification device 202 for providing notification of a determination result of the brake determination device 201.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
