Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a conveying belt from being deflected by using the conveying belt, which produces a deflection force reverse to that resulting in a deflection in a mechanism to drive the conveying belt, in the mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: As shown in Figs. (a) and (c), a conveying belt 1 to produce a deflection force that resists a lateral deflection force of the conveying belt resulting from the torsion of rollers 2 and 3 is used in a mechanism 5 in which the rollers 2 and 3 cannot be arranged in a plane. The deflecting direction of the belt depends on whether a weft (yarn extending in circumferential direction) in its core body is S-twist or Z-twist, and also the deflection force is varied according to the number of twists.
