PURPOSE: To fit a branch pipe at a desired position of a composite pipe by attaching a prepreg mat in the periphery of a branch hole of a main pipe, and making a flange part of a branch pipe to abut on the prepreg mat, and fastening the flange part of the branch pipe against the main pipe for fixation with a presser tool.
CONSTITUTION: A prepreg mat 3 is interposed between a flange part 51 of a branch pipe 1 and a branch hole 22 of a main pipe 2, and the branch pipe 1 and the main pipe 2 are fastened for fixation by a presser tool 4. The branch pipe 1 comprises a pipe main frame 10 made of the heat reversible resin, and the outer peripheral surface thereof is covered with a fiber reinforced layer 5. The main pipe 2 comprises a pipe main frame 20 made of the heat reversible resin, and the outer surface thereof is covered with a fiber reinforced layer 5. The prepreg mat 3 is made of the quality as same as the fiber reinforced layer 5, and a hole is provided in the central part thereof. The presser tool 4 consists of an annular part 41 and a band part 42. As a result, branch pipes can be connected easily and securely even if after forming a main pipe or after the pipe arranging.
