To enable reduction of manufacturing cost of a saddle and improvement of productivity, while preventing a strength defect of a snap tap connection port of the saddle.
A branch saddle joint 10 is used for taking a branch from a main pipe 100, and is provided with a saddle 12 made from a synthetic resin. At a center part of the saddle 12, a snap tap connection port 16 is formed, and an insert member 18 is integrally embedded in the snap tap connection port 16. The insert member 18 includes a tubular body 20 made from metal such as gunmetal. On the outer surface of the body 20, upper flanges 30, 32 are formed, and on a lower side thereof, lower flanges 34, 36 with smaller diameters than the upper flanges 30, 32 are formed. The lower flanges 34, 36 are incorporated with a resin part 38 made of synthetic resin same as the saddle 12.
