PURPOSE: To extract a signal given to an output terminal from an input terminal and a branch terminal by using the output terminal for the input terminal without changing the mount direction of the branching device.

CONSTITUTION: The device is connected between an input terminal 1 and an output terminal 2 and a signal received from the input terminal 1 is outputted to the output terminal 2 and a branch terminal 3. However, the signal given to the output terminal 2 is outputted to the input terminal 1 but not outputted to the branch terminal 3. An output direction changeover switch 4 is provided between the input terminal 1 and the output terminal 2 so that the signal given to the output terminal 2 is outputted to the input terminal 1 and the branch terminal 3. Furthermore, an output direction changeover switch 4 is provided to the branch terminal 3 so that the signal given to the output terminal 2 is outputted to the input terminal 1 and the branch terminal 3.
