Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out pipe branching work during the operation of a production line, etc., without suspending the supply of water in the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: When a branched port is formed on a pipe 11, a sluice valve 28 having a straight passage 26 and a rod shaped drilling tool 41 which can penetrate through the passage 26 are used. One edge of the passage 26 of the sluice valve 28 is connected with a branched port formation predetermined part. The drilling tool 41 is allowed to penetrate through the passage 26, and drilling work is carried out at the branched port formation specified part.
