Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable an easy examination of mammary cancer by a thermography method at home or at other places by forming a cup part contacting a mamma part evenly from a fabric member impregnated with a thermally discoloring liquid crystal having a specified discoloring start temperature.

CONSTITUTION: This brassiere for mammary cancer examination is made up of a cup part 1 so formed to contact a mamma evenly as a whole and a strap part 2 and a band part 3 to fix the cup part 1 on a human body. The cup part 1 is formed from a fabric member impregnated with a thermally discoloring liquid crystal with a discoloring start temperature of 30-35°C. The fabric member herein used is so arranged that it begins to discolor preferably at about 31°C, changes in colors sequentially as the temperature rises and turns back to the same color in substance before the discoloring thereof begins when the temperature exceeds about 37°C. In the diagnosis. the brassiere for the examination is put on for several minute and changes in color presented at the left and right cup parts 1 are observed. When any different color change is shown, abnormality is determined. A user is asked to receive a precise inspection.
