To provide a brazing device that can reduce brazing defect.
A brazing device 100 includes a heat shield plate 109 that is located between a near-infrared ray irradiation space R107 of a plate shape and a brazing space R103. The heat shield plate 109 has a flat plate shape. Moreover, the heat shield plate 109 is formed by using a quartz glass. Because the quartz glass is an inorganic quality heat insulating material, the heat shield plate 109 can intercept movement of heat from the near-infrared ray irradiation space R107 to the brazing space R103. In addition, in the quartz glass, transmittance becomes almost zero in a far infrared region of at least 3 μm of a wavelength. In a word, the quartz glass penetrates near-infrared radiation while intercepts far infrared radiation. As a result, because a heat exchanger HE can be heated only by the near-infrared radiation, the heat exchanger HE can be uniformly heated. Therefore, brazing defect can be prevented.
