To provide a brazing sheet for fin, capable of low temp. brazing and accordingly minimal in the occurrence of buckling in a thin-walled fin member of a heat exchanger during brazing, further capable of brazing together with other low-melting high strength members such as tube material, and further enabling the scrap of ordinary heat exchangers made of Al alloy to be recycled as a raw material for brazing filler metal at the time of manufacture of a new brazing sheet for fin.
An Al alloy, having a composition consisting of, by weight, >0.03-2.5% Si, >0.05-2.0% Fe, >0.05-2.0% Cu, >0.6-2.0% Mn, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, is used as a core material. Both sides of this core material are clad with an Al alloy brazing filler metal having a composition consisting of, by weight, >7.0-12.0% Si, >0.4-8.0% Cu, >0.5-6.0% Zn, >0.05-1.2% Mn, >0.05-0.5% Fe, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.
