Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jump out of oil without providing an exclusive rib for shielding the oil by forming a breather chamber for shielding the oil jumping from a carrier chamber with an exchanging rod having a free axle mechanism.
SOLUTION: A breather device 90, on the separating side from a differential case of an exchanging rod 70 of a free axle mechanism 50, has a breather chamber 92 for shielding the oil jumping from a carrier chamber 10 with this exchanging rod 70. This breather chamber 92 forms a first breather chamber 92-1 and a second breather chamber 92-2, and even if oil flows into the first breather chamber 92-1, it is possible to make the oil less apt to flow to a breather hose 100 connected to upper portion of the second breather chamber 92-2 located more outside than the first breather chamber 92-1. Thus, without providing an exclusive rib for shielding the jumping oil, using an exchanging rod 70, jump out of oil can be prevented.
