Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a supply limitation of fuel perceivable so easily, by installing a channel part, projecting to the inside of a tank body, connectedly in a cover plate for closing the opening installed in a side wall of a tank body, and installing a fuel upper limit level regulating hole in the top wall. CONSTITUTION:A tank body 1 of this fuel tank T made of plastics is formed into a low-flat form. A blowing port 2 at the time of blowing molding opened to one side wall facing the longitudinal direction is closed by a cover plate to be deposited to the peripheral edge. In this cover plate 3, there are provided with a fuel intake pipe 4, a breather pipe 5 and a wave killer plate 6 connectedly, and this wave killer plate 6 is made up of installing a channellike base 10 opening the underside, an intermediate part having an almost square housing concave part 12 opening the upside and tip part 13 having a rising wall 14 in order from the cover plate 3 side. And, a fuel upper limit level regulating hole 17 is installed in a tip end part of a top wall 10a of the base 10, and a breather pipe 5 is installed so as to be opened inside the base 10 at a higher place than the said hole 17.
