Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the degree of freedom of the mounting position of a motor with a breather, by providing a side groove that is opened to the atmosphere while crossing an axial groove that is formed along a breathing hole and forms an air channel along with the axial groove, and a side hole for guiding rainwater to the outside independently of the air channel that is arranged separately from the side groove.
SOLUTION: In both cases where a motor 40 with a breather is mounted while an output shaft is facing the lower portion of a vehicle and hence an end plate 1c is arranged at the lower side of the vehicle, and the motor 40 with a breather is mounted while the output shaft is facing the side of the vehicle and hence the end plate 1c is arranged at the side of the vehicle, rainwater is guided to the outside by a path that is different from first and second air channels 20 and 21 being formed by first and second axial grooves 1a2 and 1a3 and first and second side grooves 1b2 and 1b3, thus preventing atmospheric open parts 1b5 and 1b6 of the first and second side grooves 1b2 and 1b3 from being blocked by rainwater, and hence preventing the mounting position of the motor with a breather from being limited.
