Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide briquettes for a raw material for steelmaking with which grinding-wheel swarf can be effectively recycled.
SOLUTION: Flocculent agglomerates B containing pulverized pure iron and oil and also containing grinding-wheel swarf of ferrous metal are finely sheared and the resultant powder D is solidified using an auxiliary agent E for solidification and dried; and also the above flocculent agglomerates B are compressed and the resultant brittle compacts C are impregnated with an inorganic auxiliary agent E for solidification and solidified.
