Abstract:
To provide a bristle for toothbrush having a core-sheath structure which can efficiently brush a tooth surface part, an interdental part, a tooth cervix part and the like with bristle firmness by a sheath part and entry easiness to a fine part by a core part by making the core part protrude in a slender shape from a tip portion of the sheath part.SOLUTION: A bristle 10 for toothbrush constituting a brush part 17 by being planted on a planting base 21 of a toothbrush 20 comprises a core-sheath structure including: a core part 12 which is made of a resin that is hard to be polished; and a sheath part 11 which is made of a resin that is easy to be polished. By polishing a tip side region 10a by a polishing device for taper processing, the core part 12 protrudes in a state of including a non-tapered cylindrical portion in at least a protruding base end region 12a from the tip of the sheath part 11 of the tip portion 11a that is tapered into a slender conical shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
