Abstract:
To achieve further energy saving in broach processing, and discover broach chipping early.SOLUTION: According to configuration of a broach machine 100 of the present invention that cuts a work-piece 102 by moving a broach 110 comprising many blades 112 on an outer periphery and the work-piece 102 relatively, the broach machine 100 comprises: a servo motor 120 for moving the broach 110 or the work-piece 102; a numerical control part 210 which performs control of operation and detection of a load torque of the servo motor 120; and a calculation part 230 which corrects a set value of a processing program 240 which is a program for broch processing operated by the numerical control part 210. The calculation part 230 acquires a contact location where the blade of the broach firstly contacts the work-piece from the load torque detected by the numerical control part, and corrects the set value of the processing program 240 so that a relative speed between the broach and the work-piece at the contact location becomes a set speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
