Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broad area load distribution control system for relieving a processing load on functions required for a traffic engineering having been executed by an edge node in prior arts and efficiently executing large scale broad area load distribution.
SOLUTION: The broad area load distribution control system includes: a statistic information collection means for acquiring a traffic state of a link connected to a node in a network from each node as statistic information; a path decision means for deciding at least one pathway to set a plurality of paths between an entrance edge node and an exit edge node corresponding to a traffic engineering block of the network on the basis of the acquired statistic information; and a load distribution decision means for deciding a ratio of traffic to be distributed to respective paths on the decided pathway on the basis of the acquired statistic information, and respective operating positions of the statistic information collection means, the path decision means, and the load distribution decision means are respectively switched between the entrance edge node and a network controller for collectively controlling each node.
