Abstract:
To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of executing a more value-added function.SOLUTION: In a broadcast receiver capable of receiving digital broadcasting service including broadcast program information and associated information on an application executable cooperatively with a broadcast program, at least either a broadcast program video image obtained from the broadcast program information or a predetermined application execution video image acquired on the basis of the associated information of the application can be displayed. In the case where a command for displaying the broadcast program video image is not present in the acquired predetermined application, control is performed to display the broadcast program video image in response to a user instruction together with the application execution video image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 24
