To save the power of broiling work and improve the working efficiency by placing a body formed of a lateral pair of longitudinal members and a connecting member for connecting both the longitudinal members on a heater having a heating part, and winding a carrying chain for placing a toasting net between sprockets provided on both ends of the longitudinal members.

Before using, a heater 11 having a heating part such as electric heater, burner or the like is preheated to a prescribed temperature, a toasting net having a materiel such as an eel placed thereon is put on a support frame 38, and the operation button of an electric control box is operated to operate a device 10. Namely, a driving shaft 33 is rotated by an electric motor, and the support frame 38 is transferred onto the heating part of the heater 11 by a carrying chain 35 to heat the eel. After the lapse of a prescribed time set in a timer, for example, the electric motor is rotated in the reverse direction to retreat the support frame 38 situated on the heater 11 to a working position W on this side. After the eel is dipped in a sauce by an operator, the operation button is operated again for finish broiling to advance the support frame 38 onto the heater 11, completing the broiling.
