PURPOSE: To prepare brown-colored tea having unique taste and flavor, by charging green tea leaves in a tea-processing dryer, and heating the dryer from outside introducing dried air heated at 200W300°C into the dryer.

CONSTITUTION: Green tea leaves are charged into a tea-processing dryer furnished with a heating means and an air blowing means, and dried air heated at about 250°C outside of the dryer is introduced into the dryer. At the same time, the dryer is heated from outside with a burner, and the green tea leaves in the dryer are heated at about 300°C. After the completion of the heating, the tea leaves are left to cool to obtain the objective brown-colored tea.
