Abstract:
PURPOSE: To keep the horizontal state of a holddown bar and prevent improper handling with tools even when the holddown bar is unevenly pushed with a BRP handling tools in the upper structure of a BRP(burnable poison) fuel assembly.
CONSTITUTION: The assembly includes a flange part 9 projecting outward from the upper end of a sleeve 5 standing on an endplate 4, a recessed part 10 where the flange part 9 is fitted into the holddown bar 7 fitted on the sleeve 5, and a jaw part 11 forming a wall of the recessed part 10 and pressed to the lower surface of the flange part 9.
