Abstract:
To provide a brush device capable of preventing a rapid variation in brush area.
Blushes 7, 8 have slidable contacts 7c, 8c protruded from blush main bodies 7a, 8a and thrust to a commutator 15; and a pair of first and second tapered planes 7d, 7e, 8d, 8e at both sides of the slidable contacts 7c, 8c. An area in contact with the commutator 15 of the slidable contacts 7c, 8c is increased against wear of the slidable contacts 7c, 8c with the assistance of the first and second tapered planes 7d, 7e, 8d, 8e. The first and second tapered planes 7d, 7e, 8d, 8e gradually increases the area in contact with the commutator 15 against the wear of the first and second blushes 7, 8.
