To provide a new brush holder or the like that converges a brush bundle made of a plurality of linear materials in a stable state and does not come off or fall off even when an external force is applied.SOLUTION: A brush holder 51 that holds a brush bundle B composed of a plurality of wires Y whose tips are in sliding contact with a sliding object, comprises: a brush accommodating part 52 in which a base end side of the brush bundle B is accommodated; and a brush insertion part 53 through which the middle part of the brush bundle B is inserted inside.
