Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stably control a field in wide speed and field current ranges by providing a function generator for correcting the nonlinearity of the primary current value for a field current reference. CONSTITUTION:A field current reference value is inputted to a function generator 10, and the primary current reference value in response to the reference value is outputted. This primary reference value is applied to a calculator 7. The calculator 7 obtains a deviation between the detected value of a current detector 6 and the primary current reference value and applies it to a current controller 8. The controller 8 applies a control signal for setting the deviation value to zero to a voltage controller 5. Thus, the output current, i.e., the primary current of the controller 5 is controlled to coincide with the primary current reference value. A function generator 10 converts the field current reference value to the primary current reference in accordance with the predetermined function value to correct the nonlinearity with the field current reference value and the primary current reference value applied to a wound-rotor type induction motor 3.
