Abstract:
A control circuit (2) has a memory (2a) into which drive data which represent drive currents to be supplied to the respective coils (24-26) at each of preset angular positions of the rotor (1) are stored. The control circuit reads the drive data which best matches a target angular position of the rotor to generate signals used by a drive circuit to supply drive currents to the coils. The drive circuit consists of a number of field-effect transistors (3-8).
